The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has imposed a five-year ban on Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan from entering the Mumbai Wankhede Stadium, following a scuffle between the actor and MCA officials.
The MCA filed a police complaint against the actor for abusing and assaulting its officials after a match on Wednesday.
However, the Kolkata Knight Riders cricket team owner defended his action, stating that he became angry after seeing MCA security officials manhandling his daughter, Suhana, and other kids at the stadium.
The actor also rubbished reports that he was in a drunken stupour at the time of the incident.
The scuffle led to a stand-off between the two, resulting in MCA imposing a five-year ban on Shah Rukh.
